"The title track was performed by Carrier Band in the Fall of 2003 at Deep
Listening Space in Kingston, New York. Pauline Oliveros performed with her
accordion and computer based 'Expanded Instrument System', Peer Bode
performed with the 'Bode Vocoder' and Andrew Deutsch performed live archival
recordings from the Bode Archive which included the voices of Ralf & Harald
Bode along with other electronic sounds. Voice Coil is an example of an
improvisation emphasizing the integration of analog systems and new digital
tools between performers both living and deceased.

Track two of the CD is an electronic composition by Andrew Deutsch using
sounds from Pauline Oliveros' composition 'Music For Expo 70'.

Track three contains sounds from Oliveros'  'Electronic Compositions 5' of 6 and
Mewsack along with elements from Stephen Vitiello's "Light Meter" recordings. "
